The rising cost of fueling our world

Gas Prices

Gas prices have doubled under Obama’s leadership.

When Obama was inaugurated on January 20, 2009, the national average for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline was $1.78*. As of March, 2012, the national average is now around $3.80*.
In states like California, New York, & Illinois, people are paying as much as $4.36* per gallon.

     This is simply unacceptable.

This graph from the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics provides a shocking view of the dramatic rise of oil prices under Obama’s failed leadership.

Naturally, there are a multitude of factors that contribute to rising oil & gas prices. Many of those factors are admittedly outside the scope of any President’s authority. We can’t hold President Obama accountable for absolutely everything contributing to this growing problem.
But we absolutely must hold Obama accountable for his decisions which have contributed to this problem, rather than alleviating it.

Additional information about Obama’s record on oil & gas prices will be posted soon!
